In this episode, Elliott speaks with IVP (pseudonym), a Minor Attracted Person who shares his journey of first becoming aware of his attraction to minors and his subsequent struggles with shame, secrecy, and mental health.

 

IVP opens up about the difficulties of living a double life, trying to suppress his feelings, and the toll it took on his mental health. Despite his struggles, he went on to have a son with a female friend whom he began dating. However, the internal conflict he experienced ultimately led him to seek therapy.

Also sharing how he found support and community through VirPed, an online community for non-offending Minor Attracted Persons, and how being part of this community has helped him to accept himself and build resilience. Through his story, sheds light on the experiences and challenges faced by Minor Attracted Persons and the importance of finding supportive communities and resources.
